I start by digging into the context — speaking with users, chatting with stakeholders, reviewing existing journeys, or running quick bits of discovery. This helps me understand what’s actually happening, not just what we assume.
Tools I often use: interviews, desk research, heuristic reviews.

Once I’ve gathered enough insight, I map things out. I group themes, sketch out journeys, build personas, and reframe challenges with prompts like “How might we…” to open up the design space.
Tools: affinity mapping, journey maps, personas, problem statements.

This is where ideas start to take shape. I sketch, wireframe, and prototype to test directions early. I keep things low-fi at first so we can move quickly and stay focused on the core experience.
Tools: wireframes, user flows, low–mid fidelity prototypes.

I validate concepts with users, gather feedback, and iterate. Once the direction feels right, I refine the interaction patterns and visual design — keeping everything clean, intuitive, and minimal.
Tools: usability testing, hi-fi design, interaction refinement.
